Description for Fall Soccer
- Team for Kindergarten to 2nd grade will play in a league with the schools Ascension and St. Marys. Teams are made of children K - 2nd. They will practice once or twice a week in September and play 4 to 6 games in October (Thursdays and Saturdays). The field for games will be in New Carrollton. - Team for grades 3rd to 5th will play with PGSI (Prince George Soccer Incorporated). Practice once or twice a week, play around 6 games at Magruder Park (Hyattsville) on Saturday mornings. - Pre K will have 10 classes at New Hope's gym. They will work on developing soccer skills
Description for Winter Basketball
Team for Kindergarten to 2nd grade will
play in a league with the schools Ascension and St. Marys. Teams are
made of children K - 2nd. They will practice once a week starting the
third week in November. Games are on Saturdays starting in February
2009. The games will be at St. Marys school, Landover Hills.
Pre K will have 10 classes at New Hope's gym. They will work on developing basketball skills and have scrimmages among themselves.
Note: - Children participating in “After School Activities” must be signed for “After Care” or an adult must be with the child from 3:30 to the time the activity begins. - Withdraw before season is over: Families can get a prorated discount, minus cost of uniform if they notify the office on writing - Withdraw on the first week is subject to a 20 % processing fee.
